2008 - 2009 : Third year of B.A. Degree in product design at the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, leading to an M.A.
Improvement of learning Technics and Methods focusing on acquiring representation tools, knowledge of materials applied to product design. Design projects carried out in collaboration with industrial partners : UCPA company, a national group of vacation centers, Fixator, a company which produces equipment for construction sites and SLE, a producer of garden furniture.
2006 - 2008 : Two year undergraduate diploma in product design, at the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique.
Carried out an apprenticeship in two different companies (two weeks in class and two weeks in the professional world each month). Cognitive Ergonomy, design project methodology, environmental design, graphic design, packaging, marketing, materials, modelling, computer skills, physics, sketching...

sept. 2007 - june 2008 : Apprenticeship : Integrated designer at Europlastiques, a company which produces plastic packaging mainly for the food industry.
I was in charge of developing a new prospective project about meal tray concept, studying market, proposing ideas and developing different concepts. I also worked on client requests. I gained knowledge of plastic injection techniques and design project management, applied in the research departement of Europlastique, dealing with all the technical and production problems.
sept. 2006 - june 2007 : Apprenticeship : Integrated designer at Ernest Menard, a company which produces middle range furniture and is the french leader in this market.
My mission was to propose a maximum of sketches to enrich the different future collections. I could see the workshop and understand all the techniques of manufacturing wood furniture. I also followed the catalogue design from the photographic shooting to the layout. I learned to work quickly, as part of a team and I gained basics of the wood industry. |
